Two days of cultural visits to sites of Jewish and Muslim interest including a reception at the Houses of Parliament.For further details please contact Richard Stone 70rs@stoneashdown.org 13 November 07: Documentary "SHALOM - SALAAM : LA PAIX !" to be shown on French television At 8pm on 29 November 2007, the French parliamentary channel LCP (La Chaîne parlementaire) will show the documentary film "SHALOM - SALAAM : LA PAIX !", which was filmed on the most recent French tour of the Friendship Bus. It will be shown again on Sunday 2 December at 11.30pm and on Saturday 8 December at 5.30pm. 15 October 07: Dialogue Co-ordinator Ruth Friedman makes an intervention at the OSCE Conference on Intolerance and Discrimination Against Muslims "I would like to address the issue of the ‘other’. In our conference today we are of course addressing the issue of ‘other’ as Muslim, but in our society this issue of ‘other’ takes many forms – Islamophobia of course, but also it manifests as antisemitism, homophobia, racism, xenophobia, discrimination against all migrants and refugees, and indeed against women."
