CEJI Needs Your Support: European Parliament Campaign on Antisemitism

CEJI is campaigning to sign up Members of the European Parliament to the London Declaration on Combating Antisemitism.

The London Declaration provides proactive and pragmatic steps for governments atall levels to combat antisemitism, and to create an awareness of this important issue through education, training and community involvement. It is a useful tool for combating antisemitism, but it is more than that: other forms of hatred can be countered by similar initiatives, and help create a European Union free of discrimination of all kinds.

The London Declaration has until now been signed by over 130 Members of Parliament from around the world. By signing on, elected officials commit publicly to identify the threat of antisemitism, and to challenge it where it occurs.

CEJI has been contacting the Members of the European Parliament, urging them to commit to endorse the Declaration. We need you, our partners and friends, to contact MEPs to sign the Declaration. A sample letter to send to MEPs can be found here. The text of the Declaration is available in English, French, German and Spanish.

Contact information for MEPs is available here.

For more information, contact please contact Gidon van Emden at the CEJI office
